I. The "Climate Change Elementary and Junior High School Painting Competition" hosted by our association has been held for 13 sessions, with a cumulative participation of 65,352 students from 43 countries. This session (the 14th) responds to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, "Good Health and Well-being," with the theme of "Healthy Little Ambassadors." It aims to enhance teachers' and students' awareness of infectious diseases and jointly explore prevention methods, while also learning about healthy lifestyles, emotional management, etc., to fully understand the sub-goals of SDG 3 and work together towards a healthy and peaceful life. The competition also actively responds to SDG 13 "Climate Action," encouraging teachers and students to change their behaviors and take active steps, implement relevant education, and raise public awareness.

II. Registration period: January 15, 2024 (Monday) to April 30, 2024 (Tuesday). To encourage participation from teachers and students, award-winning teachers and students will receive letters of appreciation and certificates, respectively. The total prize money for this year's competition is as high as NT$140,000, and winning entries will have the opportunity to be exhibited at "Taipei Metro Art Gallery," "Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1," and "Kaohsiung Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Zuoying Store." III. If teachers integrate this activity into their environmental education courses, they can apply to open a course on the Ministry of Environment's Lifelong Learning Network for Environmental Education (https://elearn.moenv.gov.tw/) and log the actual learning hours of teachers and students after the course to obtain environmental education hours. We kindly request your encouragement for your subordinates to participate enthusiastically.
