I. In accordance with the letter dated March 1, 113 (Republic of China calendar), from the John Tung Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the John Tung Foundation) to Mayor Chiang.

II. Information regarding the "2024 Quit Smoking, Win" competition is summarized as follows:

(I) Competition Rules: Smokers ("Participants") and non-smokers ("Witnesses") form a team of two. Registration must be completed by the end of April, 113 (Republic of China calendar). Successful quitters will have a chance to enter a lucky draw.

(II) Competition Period: May 2 to May 29, 113 (Republic of China calendar), for four consecutive weeks of complete smoking cessation.

(III) Eligibility:

1. Smokers ("Participants"): Individuals aged 20 or above, holding Republic of China nationality or residing in Taiwan for over 1 year, and who have been smoking continuously for the past year.

2. Non-smokers ("Witnesses"): Individuals aged 7 or above, who have never smoked or have quit smoking for over 1 year, and are family members, teachers, friends, classmates, colleagues, housemates, or other individuals who frequently interact with the participant, and are willing to support and witness the participant's complete smoking cessation.

(IV) Registration Method:

1. Online Registration: After the event begins (scheduled for March 19, 113, Republic of China calendar), please visit the John Tung Foundation's "Chinese Quit Smoking Network" (Website: http://www.equit.org) for online registration.

2. Mail-in Registration: Complete the registration form and mail it to the "John Tung Foundation" (Address: 12F-3, No. 57, Section 3, Fuxing North Road, Songshan District, Taipei City 105404) by April 30, 113 (Republic of China calendar) (postmark date applies).

(V) Prizes:

1. Grand Prize for Successful Quitting (1 group): NT$300,000 in total for the participant and witness (NT$150,000 each).

2. Second Prize for Successful Quitting (6 groups): NT$60,000 in total per group for the participant and witness (NT$30,000 each).
