I. In accordance with Article 154, Paragraph 1 of the Administrative Procedure Act and Article 19, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 4 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention and Control Act.

II. To protect the public's right to health free from secondhand smoke and to establish outdoor smoke-free environments, the Health Bureau, in accordance with Article 19, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 4 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention and Control Act, hereby announces that all sidewalks surrounding Muzha Elementary School in Wenshan District (Address: No. 191, Section 3, Muzha Road, Wenshan District, Taipei City) will be designated as completely smoke-free areas starting from May 21, 2025.

III. Any violation of smoking in the aforementioned smoke-free areas will be subject to a fine of not less than NT$2,000 and not more than NT$10,000, in accordance with Article 40, Paragraph 2 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention and Control Act.
