I. In response to the National Languages Development Act, starting from the 111th academic year, local languages will be included as a compulsory curriculum for junior and senior high schools. Taipei City retired teachers are encouraged to obtain local language proficiency certifications and serve as teachers for local language instruction in Taipei City, in order to strengthen the capacity of local language teachers in Taipei City and complete curriculum planning.
II. The information for the third phase of the aforementioned plan is as follows:
(I) Workshop time: March 20, 113 to April 24, 113. Please refer to the implementation plan for the course schedule.
(II) Meeting location: Taipei Municipal Cheng-Cheng Junior High School (Exit 7, Nangang Exhibition Center MRT Station).
(III) Participants: This workshop is for retired teachers in Taipei City who are interested in teaching local languages (Min Nan) and are willing to serve as teaching support staff in Taipei City.
(IV) Registration method: Registration is via online GOOGLE form. Participants will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. III. Min Nan language registration fee subsidy: Full registration fees will be subsidized for participants in this program who pass the intermediate-high level or above Min Nan language proficiency certification conducted by the Ministry of Education or its designated schools, institutions, or corporations. This subsidy is limited to one instance per person.
IV. Schools are requested to post relevant information on their websites and disseminate it through retired teacher networks to share information about the workshop.
